The Durban Club at 93 Victoria Embankment is the 3rd home of this gentlemen’s club, originally founded in 1854. Wills and Ing started the asymmetrically composed building in 1900. It is remarkably free in the massing elements: a central, two storied veranda flanked by a substantial domed tower on the left and a smaller tower with a pagoda like roof on the right. Internally there are many rooms exhibiting excellent craftsmanship; it is only open to women if accompanied by a member.
